Argentina Soybean Estimate Unchanged at 48.5 Million Tons

The 2024/2025 Argentina soybean estimate was left unchanged this week at 48.5 million tons with a neutral bias.
Soybeans in Argentina were 89% harvested as of late last week, which represents an advance of 8% for the week. Harvesting of the early-planted soybeans is nearing completion with the late planted soybeans 77% harvested.
The nationwide average yield is now 3,040 kg/ha (45.2 bu/ac). The early planted soybeans are averaging 3,190 kg/ha (47.5 bu/ac) with the late planted soybeans averaging 2,540 kg/ha (37.8 bu/ac). Yields continue to exceed initial expectations, especially in the southern core region.
